Terms of service

PressHalo distributes announcements to publications in our syndication networks. Each package states the number of placements it covers. Placement means your release is published on the outlet's own domain.

There are general packages, which distribute across our network of general-interest, tech, finance and health outlets, and Web3 / Crypto packages (Silver, Genesis and Alpha), which distribute to crypto and Web3 publishers. Web3 / Crypto packages are delivered within 7 days. Add-ons are sold separately: written press releases, launch videos, and DoFollow Links, which secures a do-follow link on the publishers listed for that add-on.

We sell distribution. We do not sell, and cannot sell, a journalist's independent decision to write about you. Nobody can guarantee earned editorial coverage, and any vendor who says otherwise is misrepresenting what they do.

Every package is a single purchase for a single announcement. There is no subscription, retainer, or recurring charge.

You pay by card through Stripe Checkout. Your total is calculated from the package and add-ons you choose, and is shown on the checkout page before you pay. If checkout is unavailable when you order, we keep the order and send you a payment link.

You can order without an account. If you create one, you are responsible for keeping your password secret.

You can cancel for a full refund at any time before the first placement of your announcement publishes. Once any placement has published, the order is not refundable, in whole or in part, whatever the amount.

If a specific outlet publisher declines your publication, the PressHalo team may grant a partial refund.

That the announcement is truthful, that you have the right to publish it, and that it does not infringe anyone's rights. You approve the final text before anything is distributed.

We may decline or stop an order that is unlawful, misleading, or that our network's publishers will not accept. If we decline before anything has published, you are refunded in full.

Delivery times shown on each package are targets based on typical performance. Publication timing is ultimately controlled by each outlet.

Links are intended to be permanent. If an outlet removes or alters a placement after publication, that is outside our control, though we will tell you if we find out. Whether a link is do-follow is set by the outlet, except where you have bought the DoFollow Links add-on for the publishers it covers.

Our free tools are provided as they are. Their results come from third-party data and live searches, are informational, and can differ from one run to the next. Do not rely on them as advice.
